DAY 18 SEEKING HIS PRESENCE
Prayerfully read Isaiah 55:6; Matthew 25:1-3
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. What does the author mean by, “while He may be found”?
Does this imply that there may be times when we will not be able to find Him? I, for one do not want to discover what this means the hard way. I want to take advantage of every opportunity that I have to seek out His presence in my life. Will there be a day when circumstances around me may prevent me from finding Him – circumstances like sin, deception, death, or even the end of the age? May I make the most of the opportunity I have been given on this very day to seek His presence. May I not follow the example of the 5 foolish virgins spoken of in Matthew 25, who ran out of oil for their lamps.
Today, I press into His presence to re-fill my lamp to overflowing of the oil of His glory. I rely on the promise found in James4:8. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
Prayer: Thank you for your glorious presence Lord. I long to walk with You in the cool of the day as Adam did in close fellowship and love. Prepare me for the days ahead with the fullness of your presence. I long to abide in You. Please abide in me. May revival begin with me. Revive me this day, and may it spread to others as I share the oil that You have given to me. I love You, Lord!

DAY 15 OUR FOCUS: JESUS
Prayerfully read John 14 – 15
We humans are creatures of habit. We observe, analyze and organize the things others do.
We measure ourselves against the disciplines of our spiritual leaders. We think if they spent 2 hours with the Lord every day and are this mature, then that is what I should do. Other times we think that we want to be just as radical as someone else. And still other times we hear people talk about revival, and we study what they did and how they got there in hopes that if we do exactly what they did, we too can have revival. Copying others’ methods puts our focus on them and what they did.
Instead, we must start where they started—with Christ Himself. Everyone wanting more of Him has to START and CONTINUE with the Giver of Life, and His Name is Jesus. ‘The Life’ is only found in Jesus who is ‘The Way’. Real growth only takes place when Jesus is the One who begins a particular work, and we simply obey His direction. As we fast AND SEEK HIM our faith will be focused on Him and not on what someone else did. He will be ‘The Way’ for us. He will revive us. He is our focus!
Remember: fasting, like all spiritual disciplines or methods, doesn’t have life in itself. It just puts us in the right place to have fellowship with Christ, and to hear His voice.

• Lord, help me to focus on knowing You.
• Lord, I continue to seek Your face for a fresh move of Your Spirit in my life, family, workplace, congregation, and in our nation.

DAY 5 THE POWER OF THE MOVING OF GOD
Prayerfully read Genesis 1:1-3; Isaiah 60:1-3
Perhaps as you consider the darkness in the earth you have no hope for revival or for a 3rd Great Awakening in America. When you think about praying your faith is weak and your hope shallow. That is certainly understandable in light of the conditions of the world today.
Consider this before you pray today. All creation comes from the Holy Spirit moving. In the beginning there was only darkness and formlessness. There was no life, no hope except for the plan in the heart of the Father. Yet in all the darkness and hopeless God was about to move. The Holy Spirit was actively brooding over the nothingness about to explode with creative power and authority.
There is no darkness He cannot overcome. There is no hopelessness He cannot defeat. There is no nothingness He cannot form into something beautiful. You are His workmanship (Eph. 2:10). Today you have the power of creation residing in you. Pray from that place. Make something out of nothing just as He has done.

• Move God over the face of the deep.
• Show me the eternal plan of the Father for the nothingness I see.
• Reveal the power of creation in me that I might speak with power and authority
• Revive my heart to faith that I might pray effectual prayers with full confidence that I have what I ask because I ask in faith from a place of divine revelation.

Saturday – April 13, 2013
Good morning, Lord! Today is another day You have made and I will rejoice in it. I will also celebrate that Your provision for me is “more than enough”. Thank you that as I totally yield my time, talents, and treasure to You, You have given me extraordinary promises: “Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6: 38 Lord, expand my capacity to love, to laugh, and to give whatever You ask of me. Prayerfully ponder Philippians 4. Rejoice!!!
Wednesday – April 10, 2013
This day we arise in faith and prophetically proclaim that His relentless love and amazing grace is “more than enough” to win to Himself every member of our family. Since we are “covenant believers”, we declare the unfailing covenant promise of the Lord over every member of our household. “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the LORD. (Isaiah 59:21). Declare His promises over your children and grandchildren! Thank you Lord that “as for me and my household” we will love and serve the Lord. (Joshua 24: 15-15) Pray for the youth of our church. (Acts 2:17)
