More Than Enough – Day 15

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Today, let us together prayerfully read this extraordinary account regarding David’s preparation for the building of the temple.  (Read with your family or friends all of 1 Chronicles 29, and discuss what you learn from this inspiring account.)  David had certainly discovered one of the important keys to the Kingdom – everything he was and had was freely and willingly given to the Lord for His use.  In I Chronicles 29:14, 14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.   David is humbly amazed that he and the people are given this unique privilege  to generously give to the work of the Kingdom.  Today, pray, and then discuss with your family what is on His heart for each of you to give to our Immanuel’s “more than enough” financial adventure.  Thank You, Lord that you have birthed this vision to be totally debt-free in the hearts of our pastors and our leadership.  We believe You for our whole church family to be debt-free, and for each one to have “more than enough” to meet every financial need!

More Than Enough – Day 6

Friday – April 12, 2013

Prayerfully meditate on Matthew 6:1-21.  Note the importance Jesus gives to our giving, praying and fasting.  Father, thank You that when we give, pray, and fast, Your promise is that You see what is done in secret and You will reward us openly.  Thank You that You are teaching us that You are the treasure we seek.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:21)  Thank You that obedience to Your Kingdom principles always releases “more than enough” of Your provision.  Lord, give me and my family a generous, praying heart and lifestyle.
