More Than Enough – Day 14

Saturday – April 20, 2013

Repeatedly throughout the Scriptures, we are told that we are surrounded by much activity in the spiritual realm. I often wonder how differently we would live if we actually focused on Paul’s admonition in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” When Elisha’s servant became overwhelmed by the enemies strong forces he ran to Elisha petrified and fearful (Read II Kings 6: 8-18) Calmly Elisha prayed: O, Lord, open his eyes so he may see. Thank You, Lord that You have made us more than conquerors in every situation. Thank You that those who are with us are “more than enough” to defeat those who are against us! Lord, open my eyes, the eyes of my family, and open the eyes of Your people to the eternal, unseen realm of “more than enough”.

More Than Enough – Day Two

Monday – April 8, 2013

Prayerfully read Romans 8: 28-39.  God’s strategy of always pouring out His unconditional and unfailing love into our lives assures us that no matter what happens, He is determined to make us “more than conquerors”.  Take time to declare this Scripture over every situation and relationship in your life.  Thank You, Lord that I am more than a conqueror in my family, work, school and church life!  Pray for the fullness of His Spirit to fill you and your family.  If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13)
